The hiding power of cerium sulfide pigments can completely reach the level of cadmium pigments and lead chromate pigments; cerium sulfide pigments have excellent dispersibility, and crystalline thermoplastic plastic products colored with cerium sulfide pigments do not warp during processing and molding, and have high dimensional stability; cerium sulfide pigments have good light resistance and weather resistance, are non-irritating to human skin and eyes, and have no mutagenic activity, and fully comply with the regulations for the use of food and toys. In short, rare earth pigments can be used wherever lead chromate pigments and cadmium pigments can be used.
